Basketball Recap: Xavier Prep Takes a Loss

Xavier Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Palm Springs Indians and fell 56-29. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 72-30 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Xavier Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Palm Springs, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Xavier Prep will square off against La Quinta at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palm Springs, they will face off against Palm Desert at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Palm Desert's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
