Archbishop McCarthy won the last time they faced Treasure Coast and things went their way on Saturday too. The Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks snuck past the Treasure Coast Titans with a 66-61 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mavericks.

Treasure Coast's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Torre Washington, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Those 17 points gave Washington a new career-high. Carmine Anroman was another key player, going 5 for 11 on his way to 14 points along with five assists and three steals.

Archbishop McCarthy's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Treasure Coast, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Archbishop McCarthy will challenge Everglades at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Archbishop McCarthy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Everglades likes a good challenge. As for Treasure Coast, they will face off against Port St. Lucie at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Treasure Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.
