While Johnson County's win against Chuckey-Doak wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Longhorns sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 16-14 victory over the Black Knights on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Black Knights: they've now won three in a row.

A big part of Johnson County's victory came down to the chemistry between Johnathan Lisi and his top target Chris Wilson. Lisi rushed for 83 yards and one TD while Wilson picked up 96 receiving yards and one touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 85 yards.

The win got Johnson County back to even at 3-3. As for Chuckey-Doak, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
