Basketball Game Preview: Carlisle Wildcats vs. Ballard Bombers

The Carlisle Wildcats will square off against the Ballard Bombers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ballard took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Carlisle, who comes in off a win.

Carlisle took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They breezed by Bondurant-Farrar to the tune of 59-23. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-35, which was the final score in Ballard's tilt against North Polk on Friday. The Bombers haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Carlisle pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Ballard, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
