Softball Recap: Lowpoint-Washburn Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lowpoint-Washburn challenged Putnam County on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lowpoint-Washburn's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Putnam County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Putnam County will square off against Dwight at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lowpoint-Washburn will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' game: after the Panthers face off against the Trojans, they'll take on Lowpoint-Washburn again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
