Higley waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Gilbert Tigers 3-0. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Higley was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-15.

Britton Skousen paced Higley's offense, picking up eight kills. Skousen got some help from Brayden Farnsworth and his 28 assists. Nicolas Dewey controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Higley's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3-2. As for Gilbert, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Higley is set to square off against their familiar foe Williams Field at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gilbert will take on rival Highland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
