The Round Mountain Knights waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Beatty 54-26 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Round Mountain has managed all season.
Round Mountain's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keiran Swafford, who scored 22 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Swafford has scored at least a third of Round Mountain's points. Blake Bullington was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven steals.
Round Mountain pushed their record up to 10-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Beatty, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Round Mountain will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Wells at 3:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Beatty, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pahranagat Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th.
