Volleyball Recap: Pike County's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a good run, but Pike County unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morgan County Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Morgan County can attribute much of their success to Camryn Scherer, who had eight digs and one assist. That's the most digs Scherer has posted over her last nine matches.

Pike County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Morgan County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Pike County nor Morgan County have any future games scheduled.
