Football Recap: Johnson-Brock Eagles vs. Crofton Warriors

Johnson-Brock and Crofton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Johnson-Brock had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Warriors, falling 88-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since August 29th.

Johnson-Brock's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hayden Gravatt, who rushed for 186 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 31 receiving yards. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crofton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyson Jackson, who rushed for 251 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. Jackson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making six total tackles (3.0 for loss). PRESTON FOXHOVEN was another key player, rushing for 127 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries.
