Recap: North Edgecombe Warriors vs. East Bladen Eagles
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The North Edgecombe Warriors, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were beaten by East Bladen 51-6 on Friday.
Masion Brooks went supernova for East Bladen, rushing for 122 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries. Another player making a difference was Keyshawn Kemp, who threw for 103 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes.
North Edgecombe has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for East Bladen, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
North Edgecombe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Bladen will head out on the road to face off against Northside - Pinetown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northside - Pinetown is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
