Softball Recap: San Marcos Takes a Loss

San Marcos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Steele Knights, falling 22-10. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

San Marcos' defeat dropped their record down to 9-16-2. As for Steele, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, San Marcos and Steele will both be playing Canyon the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rattlers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
