Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burleson). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 47-7 win over the Everman Bulldogs. This was payback for the Elks, who suffered a 47-6 loss the last time these two teams met.
Burleson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jayden Flournoy, Jaden Thurston, Coy Watson, and Zevryn Garza picked up one apiece.
