Basketball Recap: Hilton Head Island Comes Up Short

Hilton Head Island came up into this matchup off a tough 57-point loss on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Lovett Lions by a score of 32-30 on Sunday. The Seahawks just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Hilton Head Island still got an impressive performance from Leah Elizabeth Ann Jackson, who went 6 for 14 on her way to 14 points and eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Hilton Head Island was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2023.
