Two dominant backs in Drew Dixon and Damien Nevil are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Virgin Valley Bulldogs will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Virgin Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Boulder City for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-7 victory on the road. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 26 points per game.

Virgin Valley found their leader in underclassman Dixon, who rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also caught a touchdown. It was another big night for Nevil, who rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.

He was just one part of a punishing run game: Sports Leadership & Management was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 224 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Democracy Prep Agassi Campus only rushed for 35.
