Springfield and Sanford squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Springfield had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Sanford Mustangs by a score of 20-18.

Even though they lost, Springfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 185 rushing yards in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.
