Basketball Recap: Strasburg Starts Season with Win Against Merino + How To Watch

Strasburg took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past the Merino Rams to the tune of 80-31. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-18.

Strasburg was led to victory by Nick Glatfelter and Brody Hopwood. Glatfelter went 8-for-11 on his way to 22 points and seven rebounds, while Hopwood shot 50% from the field en route to 18 points and six boards. Colton Holloway was another key player, putting up ten points.

Looking ahead, Strasburg will square off against Prospect Ridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Merino, they and Wray will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
