Recap: Sequatchie County Indians vs. Sale Creek Panthers

They came out on top against Sale Creek by a score of 47-35. That's another feather in the cap for Sequatchie County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Sequatchie County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Beckham Mckendrick, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds. Sale Creek's loss came despite strong showings from Jackson Moore and Dallas Billingsley. Moore scored six points along with seven assists and five rebounds, while Billingsley scored 11 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Freeman, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Sequatchie County's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Sale Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequatchie County will take on Bledsoe County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Bledsoe County is ranked 216th, while Sequatchie County is ranked 227th). Sale Creek will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
