Volleyball Recap: Gibson Southern Find Success

Gibson Southern lost to Terre Haute North Vigo back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Titans won by a set and slipped past the Patriots 2-1.

Terre Haute North Vigo lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brynn Canup, who had 17 digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Zigler, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Gibson Southern's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Terre Haute North Vigo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Gibson Southern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Barr-Reeve on the 20th. As for Terre Haute North Vigo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Covington on the 22nd.
