Baseball Recap: McCormick Comes Up Short

McCormick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Thornwell Saints, falling 17-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 18-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

McCormick's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Thornwell, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: McCormick beat the Saints by a score of 16-0 later that day.
