After flying high against Kennedy last Monday, Alden came back down to earth. The Alden Bulldogs fell 12-8 to the Kennedy Bears on Wednesday. Alden was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kennedy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played.

David Earsing made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with two triples, a run, and an RBI. Matt Waiss was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Alden now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Kennedy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Alden will head out on the road to square off against Cleveland Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
