Football Recap: Longmont Trojans vs. Broomfield Eagles        
        
		
             Longmont fell victim to Broomfield and their airtight defense  on Friday. They had to suffer through a   59-0 loss at the hands of the Broomfield Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 34  points in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
  Kolby Holmes threw for 44 yards  on six of 14 attempts.  
 Joey Foot was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards.
 It was another big night for  Colin Torres, who rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns for Broomfield. Torres showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 63 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Darien Jackson, who rushed for ten yards and a touchdown.
 Longmont's loss was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Broomfield, their record now sits at 5-1.
 Longmont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  56-0  defeat against Riverdale Ridge on the 11th. Broomfield has also  already played their next game,  a  61-0  victory against Adams City on the 10th.
