Volleyball Recap: Starr's Mill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Starr's Mill lost against Woodward Academy back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the War Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Peyton Moore, who had eight digs and three aces.

Starr's Mill now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Woodward Academy, their victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Starr's Mill has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Riverdale on the 19th. As for Woodward Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Forsyth Central on the 19th.
