Baseball Recap: Linn Takes a Loss

Linn lost against Dixon back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Linn saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Dudenhoeffer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Linn's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Dixon, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Linn will take on South Callaway in a tournament on Friday. As for Dixon, they are taking a road trip to square off against St. Elizabeth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
