Baseball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Hamilton Hornets

Princeton is 2-8 against Hamilton since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Tigers will take on the Hornets at 4:00 p.m.

Princeton is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Somerville.

Meanwhile, Hamilton never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past Lawrenceville School 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Princeton, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
