Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brooklyn Nasca and Madelyn Ngim Lead Lodi to Victory

Lodi entered their tilt with Lincoln on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

One reason for the win was Lodi's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-14.

Lodi was led to victory by Madelyn Ngim and Brooklyn Nasca. Ngim had 13 digs and five aces, while Nasca had eight digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Lodi was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Lodi's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lodi is set to take on their familiar foe West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lincoln will square off against rival St. Mary's at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
