Sarah Straley Game Report: vs Rochester

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Sarah Straley stepped things up a notch to give Union Area the 'W'. Straley turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single hit in four consecutive appearances.

Straley's strong effort led Union Area over Rochester and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
