Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Thomas Catholic). They breezed past the Antonian Prep Apaches to the tune of 70-20 on Friday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 25 points or more this season.
Pierce Jacobson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 56 yards and three TDs on only five carries, while also throwing for 196 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Myles Stewart was another key player, rushing for 158 yards and one score on only 13 carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: St. Thomas Catholic was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 291 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 218 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.
