There's no place like home for Gridley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Las Plumas Thunderbirds on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won nine in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Gridley was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12, 25-11.

Avery Mendenhall paced Gridley's offense, picking up nine kills. Mendenhall got some help from Isabel Santillan and her 29 assists. Tati Rivero and Abby Boyan kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Gridley's victory bumped their record up to 23-11. As for Las Plumas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-23.
