Softball Recap: McGehee Comes Up Short

McGehee entered their match against Smackover on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The McGehee Owls lost 10-4 to the Smackover Buckaroos. The contest marked the Owls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, McGehee fell to 4-1. As for Smackover, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McGehee will welcome DeWitt at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. DeWitt will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something McGehee surely won't give up without a fight. As for Smackover, they will host Prescott at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
