Basketball Recap: Goodrich Takes a Loss

Goodrich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 40th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 31-25 heartbreaker at the hands of the High Island Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-20 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Goodrich lost, don't look at Sky Wrightson. Despite the final result, he posted ten points.

Cam'Ron Medina continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for High Island, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Ruben Hernandez, who had five points and six rebounds.

Goodrich's loss dropped their record down to 0-26. As for High Island, their win bumped their record up to 5-24.

As of now, neither Goodrich nor High Island have any future games scheduled.
