Basketball Recap: Catoosa Comes Up Short

Catoosa was the 65-31 winner over Okay when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Catoosa Indians were outmatched by the Okay Mustangs and fell 69-27. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Catoosa still got an impressive performance from Jacquelyn Cornwell, who posted 14 points and three steals. Cornwell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Catoosa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Okay, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Catoosa will venture away from home to take on Fort Gibson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Okay, they will face off against Spiro at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spiro will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Okay surely won't give up without a fight.
