Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waller). They were the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over the Cypress Creek Cougars on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Waller and bumps their season record up to 5-7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cypress Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8-1.

Looking ahead, Waller will be taking part in a tournament against Lake Creek at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Waller will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Cypress Creek, they will host Stratford at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
