Softball Recap: Lincoln Beats Appalachian for Their Second Straight Win

13 must be Lincoln's lucky number: they beat Appalachian with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Golden Bears beat the Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Bears.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 18-11-1. As for Appalachian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Hokes Bluff on the 5th. As for Appalachian, they have also already played their next game, a 5-4 win against Gaston on the 5th.
