It's playoff time, and Pleasant Grove had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Indian Springs Student 33-27 on Tuesday. The Spartans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The win (which was Pleasant Grove's third in a row) raised their record to 10-14. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.0 runs over those games. As for Indian Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Pleasant Grove didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 defeat against Oak Grove on the 29th. Hopefully Indian Springs paid attention to the Spartans' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Spartans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
