Somerset came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Somerset walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 25-22.

Somerset was led to victory by Elly Fletcher and Molly Stoy. Fletcher had five digs and two aces, while Stoy had 11 assists and three digs. Fletcher is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Westmont Hilltop lost, don't look at Isabella Parrish. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and five aces.

Somerset's win bumped their record up to 23-5-1. As for Westmont Hilltop, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Somerset does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westmont Hilltop, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Richland on the 14th.
