Lee Academy was the 56-43 winner over Penobscot Valley when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lee Academy Pandas fell 59-49 to the Penobscot Valley Howlers on Friday.

Lee Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Penobscot Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Lee Academy has already played their next match (against Stearns), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Penobscot Valley will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mattanawcook at 6:30 p.m. Mattanawcook will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Penobscot Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
