Softball Recap: Foothill Trojans vs. Arvin Bears

Foothill lost against Arvin last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Foothill Trojans lost 12-4 to the Arvin Bears. The defeat continues a trend for Foothill in their matchups with Arvin: they've now lost six in a row.

For Arvin's part, Ava Velazquez made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits (and only one walk).
