Soccer Game Preview: Skiatook vs. Catoosa

The Skiatook Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Catoosa Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Skiatook knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Catoosa likes a good challenge.

Skiatook's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Grove with a sharp 7-0 win. The victory continues a trend for Skiatook in their matchups with Grove: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Catoosa's offense. They lost 5-0 to Holland Hall on Tuesday. Catoosa haven't had much luck with Holland Hall recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Catoosa now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Skiatook, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Skiatook beat Catoosa 4-2 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
