Basketball Recap: DeKalb Triumphs

DeKalb won the last time they faced Galesburg and things went their way on Monday too. The Barbs walked away with a 49-39 victory over the Silver Streaks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Barbs.

DeKalb's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Galesburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, DeKalb and Galesburg will both be playing Ridgewood the next time they take the court. The Barbs will host the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Silver Streaks will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
