Rappahannock had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Nandua Warriors 65-27 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Nandua's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Parker, who picked up 129 receiving yards and two scores, and also rushed for 40 yards and one TD. Another back making a difference was Juelz Snead, who rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown.

Looking ahead, Rappahannock will take on West Point at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Nandua, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Snow Hill at 6:00 p.m. on the 12th.
