Soccer Game Preview: Tascosa vs. Richland

Tascosa hasn't had much luck against Richland recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Tascosa Rebels will be taking part in a tournament against the Richland Royals at 11:00 a.m.

Tascosa will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Friday, then bounced right back against The Colony on Friday. Tascosa was the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over The Colony.

Tascosa hit The Colony with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Evan Phansana (2), Patrick Bienvenu, and Franck Ndakize.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Richland was forced to settle for a draw. They and Haltom finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Richland's draw gives them a new season record of 1-0-1. As for Tascosa, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1.
