Byron came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the New Ulm Eagles, posting a 77-39 win. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Byron's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for New Ulm, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.
