Soccer Recap: Dixon vs. Geneseo
Dixon and Geneseo squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Dixon had to settle for second. They came up short against the Geneseo Maple Leafs, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Dukes & Duchesses seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.
Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-2. As for Geneseo, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-8-1.
Dixon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Geneseo, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Dunlap at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Geneseo will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
