Volleyball Recap: Coginchaug Regional Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Coginchaug Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hale Ray Noises. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Noises when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Coginchaug Regional was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hale Ray's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-12, 25-17.

Addison Costa paced Coginchaug Regional's offense, picking up four kills. Costa got some help from Peyton Smolley and her seven assists.

Coginchaug Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hale Ray, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coginchaug Regional has already played their next match (against North Branford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hale Ray, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Portland on the 10th.
