Baseball Recap: Francis Lewis Starts Season with Victory Against Hillcrest

Francis Lewis gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They never let the Hillcrest Hawks get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory.

Jordan Juarez looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Espn Fan, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1. The team also got some help courtesy of Renos Pagiatakas, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Francis Lewis has already played their next match, an 8-0 win against Townsend Harris on the 10th. As for Hillcrest, they will square off against Jamaica at 4:00 p.m. on March 20th.
