Volleyball Game Preview: Post Falls Trojans vs. Lake City Timberwolves

The Post Falls Trojans will face off against the Lake City Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Post Falls will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Post Falls is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Lewiston, who was ranked 18th at the time (Post Falls was ranked 12th). The Trojans came out on top against the Bengals by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.

The victory didn't come easy: Lewiston scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 26-28, 26-24.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Lake City's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Freeman.

Post Falls' win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Lake City, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Post Falls came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake City when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
