Basketball Recap: Cape May County Tech Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Cape May County Tech lost to Atlantic Christian back in December of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cape May County Tech Hawks took down the Atlantic Christian Cougars 51-37.

Atlantic Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gianna Flynn, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 17 points. That was a full 45.9% of Atlantic Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row Flynn has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Sutton, who went 5-for-8 en route to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Cape May County Tech pushed their record up to 8-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Atlantic Christian, they now have a losing record of 9-10-1.

Looking ahead, Cape May County Tech will head out on the road to challenge The Pilgrim Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Atlantic Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Gloucester County Christian at 4:00 p.m. Gloucester County Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Atlantic Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
