Basketball Recap: Reavis Comes Up Short

Reavis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 69-21 defeat at the hands of the Whitney Young Dolphins. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Destiny Jackson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Whitney Young, going 11-for-17 to rack up 22 points and eight boards. The game was Jackson's ninth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kiaya Johnson, who went 5-for-10 en route to 11 points in addition to six steals and five assists.

Reavis' loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Whitney Young, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Reavis nor Whitney Young have any future games scheduled.
