Basketball Recap: New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Comes Up Short

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy lost against Carver Collegiate Academy back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs were beaten by the Carver Collegiate Academy Rams 59-15. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 370th, while the Rams are ranked 184th).

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Carver Collegiate Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy will venture away from home to challenge Abramson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carver Collegiate Academy, they will head out to square off against Archbishop Chapelle at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
