Borden came out on top against Clarksville on Saturday thanks in part to Michael McVoy's efforts. McVoy got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The effort marked the most runs he has had since back in April of 2024.

McVoy's strong effort led Borden over Clarksville and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Braves are 7-2 against the Generals going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
